Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Jane Brown Eller, 94,
of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday,
October 10, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville
Cemetery in Granville, TN.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 P.M. – 8
P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011, at Cookeville
Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.
She was born April 2, 1917, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Herman Brown and Emma Brown. On January 26, 1940,
she was married to the late Clyde W. Eller, who passed away
January 29, 2003. She was a homemaker, and a member of the
Granville Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Son: David Eller; 2 Brothers: Bill and Dowell
Brown; and 1 Sister: Lona Brown.
Survivors include 1 Son and 2 Daughters-in-Law: Jerry
and wife, Jimmie Eller of McMinnville, TN, and Linda Eller of
Memphis, TN; 2 Grandchildren: David Matthew Eller of
McMinnville, TN, and Laura Marylove Eller of Memphis, TN; and
2 Great Grandchildren: Eli and Ethan Eller.
Bro. Bob Case will officiate at the services.
