Funeral services for Mrs. Audra Mansell Brown, 80, of
Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on
Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland
Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the
Mansell Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County,
TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 9
P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Quality
Health Care Center in Lebanon, TN.
She was born January 25, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to
the late Huston Mansell and Ava Ballard Mansell. She was
married to the late J.T. Brown, Jr. She was a teacher in the
Freewill community, and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Brother: Palo Mansell; and 2 Sisters: Elean
Adams and Retta Ballard.
Survivors include 1 Son: Bruce Dudney Brown of Cheyenne,
Wyoming; 3 Daughters: Patsy Ann Thornton of Burns, TN,
Nancy Carol Ferguson of Huntsville, AL, and Julie G. Brazle of
Murfreesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Linda Pearl Mayberry of
Gainesboro, TN, and Cathy Jackson of Red Boiling Springs,
TN; 8 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
