Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Sarah Mayberry
Hines, 93, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on
Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland
Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris
Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County,
TN.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. – 9
P.M., and on Sunday from 11:30 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Mabry
Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN.
She was born July 31, 1918, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Oakley Mayberry and Edna Mayberry. In 1931, she was
married to the late John Henry “Jack” Hines, who passed
away in 1987. She was a homemaker, and a member of the
Church of Christ.
Survivors include 3 Sons: James Richard Hines of
Whitleyville, TN, Alvis Monroe Hines of Whitleyville, TN, and
Willie Oniel Hines of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Mary Ann
Stroud of LaGrange, GA; 1 Brother: Willie Bryant Mayberry of
Chicago, IL; and 2 Sisters: Molene Stafford of Gainesboro,
TN, and Betty Jo Duncan of Manchester, TN. Several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Bro. O’Neal Huffines will officiate at the services.
