

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Louis Roberts, 57, of White
House, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January
24, 2012, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House, TN.
Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Springfield, TN.
The family will receive friends at Anderson – Upper
Cumberland Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 P.M. – 9 P.M.
Visitation will be at Austin & Bell on Monday from 11 A.M. – 8
P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
He passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012, at his
residence.
He was born August 27, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Louis Roberts, Jr. and Elise Birdwell Roberts. On
February 14, 1976, he was married to Rita Stark Roberts,
who survives.
He was the Plant Services Manager at Vanderbilt University
Medical Center for 8 Years. He formerly worked for Mechanical
Systems in Nashville, TN, where he travelled to Riad, Saudi
Arabia to help build the first sewage treatment system and King
Faisal Hospital. He then worked for Johnson Controls for 23
years as a service and construction manager.
He graduated from Jackson County High School in 1972 and
attended Tennessee Tech University. He loved watching his
grandchildren play sports, never missing a game. He was a
member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
Maternal Grandparents: Frank & Fannie Birdwell; and his
Paternal Grandparents: Louis Roberts, Sr. and Mary Roberts.
Survivors include his Wife: Rita Stark Roberts of White
House, TN; 1 Daughter: Nikki (Dwight) Hinkle of White House,
TN; 3 Grandchildren: Makenzie, Rylee, and Savannah Hinkle;
2 Brothers: Larry Roberts of Cookeville, TN, and Tony
(Teresa) Roberts of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Nancy (Alton)
Hutchings of Cookeville, TN; his Father-in-law and Mother-in-
law: Freeman and Betty Stark of White House, TN; 4 Nieces; 1
Nephew; 2 Great Nieces; and 1 Great Nephew.
Bro. Duane Gossett and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at
the services.
