Funeral services for Bobby “Big Bob” Spivey, 53, of
Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday,
August 6, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch
Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. – 9 P.M.,
and on Saturday from 9 A.M until time of services.
Mr. Spivey passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at
his residence.
He was born May 24, 1958, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Milton Spivey and Olene Flynn Spivey. He worked in
fencing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4
Brothers: James Spivey, Richard Spivey, Dale Spivey, and
Billy Spivey; and 1 Sister: Mildred Spivey.
Survivors include 1 Brother: Wayne Spivey of Gainesboro,
TN; and 4 Sisters: Helen Dailey, Carol Hammock, Sue Buck,
and Judy Stacey, all of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces,
nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and
nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
