Graveside services for Mrs. Doris A. Bybee, 87, of the
Hurricane community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be
held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Rob
Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson
County, TN.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on
Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M.
She passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011, at Mabry
Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN.
She was born December 12, 1923, in Jackson County, TN,
to the late Oliver Anderson and Ruby Allen Anderson. On
October 7, 1949, she was married to the late Odell Bybee,
who passed away March 26, 2002. She was an office manager
at Twin Rivers Furniture. She was a member of the Church of
God of Prophecy.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Brother: Ray Anderson; and 1 Sister: Elise Hall.
Survivors include 2 Daughters: Marcella (Raymond)
Bentley of Gainesboro, TN, and Nancy Bybee of Gainesboro,
TN; 2 Granddaughters: Laci and John Flynt of Murfreesboro,
TN, and Katie and Josh Thurman of Athens, TN; and 1 Sister:
Irene Yankee of Castalian Springs, TN.
Bro. Barry Ray will officiate at the services.
