Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Nemore Young 89, of
Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday,
October 23, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young
Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County,
TN.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. – 8
P.M., and on Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Thursday, October 20 , 2011, at
the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.
She was born March 4, 1922, in Sumner County, TN, to the
late Willie and Mary Scott Nemore. She was married to the
late Donald A. Young. She was a factory worker, a
homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include 1 Son: Joe E. Young of Gainesboro,
TN; 1 Daughter: Edith Carol and her husband, Dale Fanning
of Xenia, OH; 2 Brothers: Ed Nemore of Baxter, TN and Jess
Nemore of Michigan; 7 Grandchildren: Timmy Joe Young,
Tony E. Young, Ernie Fanning, Amanda Moore, Deanna
Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Kellie Jo Young; and 8 Great-
Grandchildren: Kaitlin Young, Kelsey Young, Kristin Young,
Kaleb Young, Dylon Moore, Colby Moore, Payton Moore, and
Lyla Johnson
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
