Funeral services for Mr. Ermon L. Netherton, 56, of Red
Boiling Springs and formerly of Gainesboro, will be held at 2
P.M. on Monday, September 20, at Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the
McCoinsville community of Jackson County.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 P.M. until 10
P.M., and Monday from 8 A.M. until time of services at Upper
Cumberland Funeral Home.
Mr. Netherton passed away on Friday, September 17, 2004, at
the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN.
He was born July 28, 1948, in Jackson County, TN to the late
Oliver Leslie Netherton and Johnny B. Johnson Netherton. He
was married to V. Alice Carver Netherton on July 28, 1998.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son:
John Thomas Keith; and 4 Brothers: Bob Willis (Buddy)
Netherton, Clay Eades, Roger Netherton, and Oliver Ray
Netherton.
His family includes his wife: V. Alice Netherton of Red Boiling
Springs, TN; 2 Sons and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Randy and
Christy Gulley of Lafayette, TN, and Fred Jackson Keith of
Carthage, TN; 8 Daughters and 3 Sons-in-Law: Charlene and
Tim Dulworth of Celina, TN, Carline and Paul Sharp of
Gainesboro, TN, Kathy Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, Amanda
and Sammy Bush of Westmoreland, TN, Karen Brown and
Dianna Lee Newberry, both of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Rose
Darlene Hensley of Cookeville, TN, and Donna Kay of Baxter,
TN; 1 Brother: Billy Wayne Netherton of Gainesboro, TN; 7
Sisters: Mary Lou Denton, Thelma Jean Dennis, Lorene
Lawson, and Patricia Ann Donovan, all of Gainesboro, TN,
Dellie May Dillon of Michigan, Betty Sue Aberant of
Pennsylvania, and Marie Martin of Cookeville, TN; the mother
of his children: Polly Netherton of Cookeville, TN; and a
special sister-in-law: Marie Netherton of Gainesboro, TN. Mr.
Netherton is also survived by several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Dr. Kenneth Vaughn will officiate at the services.
