Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Cook Richardson,
93, of the Highland community of Jackson County, Tennessee,
will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at
Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in
the Campground Cemetery in the Wartrace community of
Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. – 9
P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at
Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN.
She was born January 6, 1919, in Jackson County, TN, to
the late E.S. Cook and Genia Cook. On August 6, 1938, she
was married to the late Wilburt Richardson, who passed away
March 15, 2001. She was a homemaker, and a member of the
Wartrace Methodist Church.
Survivors include 2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law: W.J. and
Sandra Richardson of Lafayette, TN, and Willie Ralph and
Deborah Richardson of the Highland community of Jackson
County; 5 Daughters and 2 Sons-in-Law: Donna Richardson,
Teresa Richardson, and Martha Brewster, all of the Highland
community of Jackson County, TN; Linda and Billy Stafford of
the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN; and Sue and
Larry Massey of Elmwood, TN; 5 Sisters: Pearl Thomas of
Cross Plains, TN, Ruby Burton of South Carthage, TN, Betty
(Bonnie Gene) Burton of the Gladdice community of Jackson
County, Reba (Robert) Gentry of Carthage, TN, and Helen
Strong of Gainesboro, TN; 13 Grandchildren; 25 Great
Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 4 Step-
Great Grandchildren; and 5 Step - Great Great
Grandchildren.
Bro. Kenneth Clayton and Bro. Jeff Burton will officiate at the
services.
