
Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Aline Hall Bybee, 91, of
Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday,
August 27, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark
Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. –
9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at
Masters Health Care Center in Algood, TN.
She was born June 19, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Arthur Landon Hall and Nora Pharris Hall. On February
12, 1939, she was married to the late Homer Bybee, who
passed away December 21, 1987. She was a homemaker and
factory worker, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of
Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Son: Kenneth Gentry Bybee; 3 Brothers: Sam,
Willard, and Arthur Hall, Jr.; 3 Sisters: Dorothy Poteet, Barbara
Evins, and Betty Hall; and 1 Great-Granddaughter: Callie
Bybee.
Survivors include 3 Sons: William H. Bybee and wife,
Frances, of Cookeville, TN; Charles Bybee and wife, Geneva,
of Gainesboro, TN; Paul Bybee and wife, Judy, of Cookeville,
TN; 8 Grandchildren: Tammy Stewart, James (Linda) Bybee,
Marc (Jennifer) Bybee, Randy (Denese) Bybee, Steve (Lisa)
Bybee, Jason Bybee, Stephanie (DeWayne) Tinch, and Lindsey
(Greg) Ford; 3 Brothers: Robert Hall, Ray Hall, and Bill Hall, all
of Cookeville, TN; and 16 Great-Grandchildren: Seth and
Emily Stewart; Ashley, Michael, Leah, Jessica, Grant, Landon,
Haven, and Khloe Bybee; Cole McDaniel, Taylor Williams,
Maddie Tinch; and Deanna, Kristi, and Brooklyn Apple.
Bro. James Bybee and Bro. Randy Bybee will officiate at the
services.
