Funeral services for Mr. James Earl “Jimmy” Johnson,
Sr., 48, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on
Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Anderson - Upper
Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. – 9
P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
He passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at his
residence.
He was born October 30, 1963, in Williamson County, TN, to
the late Fowler Johnson and Evelyn Goolsby Johnson. On
October 30, 1980, he was married to Teresa Johnson, who
survives. He was a construction worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2
Brothers: Terry James and Brian Johnson.
Survivors include his Wife: Teresa Johnson of Cookeville,
TN; 1 Son: James Earl Johnson, Jr. of Cookeville, TN; 4
Daughters: Melissa (Robert) Vickers of Gainesboro, TN,
Jessica Johnson of Cookeville, TN, Tamara Johnson and
Shannon Johnson, both of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren:
Kaylin York, Maggie Adams, Shelby Adams, and Taylor Vickers;
4 Brothers: Randy Johnson of Sparta, TN, Larry Johnson of
Livingston, TN, Billy Joe Johnson of Cookeville, TN, and Jeffery
Johnson of Lebanon, TN; and 2 Sisters: Judy Blair of
Gordonsville, TN, and Pearl Hooten of Gainesboro, TN.
Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
