James Edward Smallwood

   Memorial services for James Edward Smallwood, 75, of
Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at a later date. The family
will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. – 9 P.M. The family
has chosen cremation.

   He   passed   away   on   Thursday,   January   5,   2012,   at
Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

   He was born April 26, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the
late Joe Smallwood and A.V. Smallwood. He was a   truck
driver, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. He
served in the U.S. Army.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
Wife: Mary Emily Smallwood; and 2 Sisters: Juanita Smallwood
and Joy Ann Smallwood.

   Survivors    include    3    Sons:    Mike   Smallwood,    Jimmy
Smallwood,   and   Jamey   Smallwood, all of Gainesboro, TN; 2
Daughters:   Joy Jones and Barbara Richards, both of MI; 1
Brother: Roy A. (Betty) Smallwood of Gainesboro, TN; and 5
Sisters: Mary Nell Flatt and Jerline Stafford, both of Baxter, TN;
Anna Lee (Roy) Flatt,   Nell   Haney,   and   Linda Faye (Royce)
Jenkins, all of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-
Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
friends also survive.
