Memorial services for Karey D. Martin, 55, of Gainesboro,
Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 13,
2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The
family has chosen cremation.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 P.M. –
9 P.M., and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
He passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at his residence.
He was born June 10, 1956, in Jackson County, TN, to
Violet Rhea Martin and the late William Herbert Martin. He
was married to Ann Rogers Martin, who survives. He was a
brick mason, and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 2
Brothers: Sherrill Carter Martin and William K. “Kenny” Martin.
Survivors include his Wife: Ann Rogers Martin of
Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Ashley (Joseph) Gamino of
Spring Hill, TN; his Mother: Violet Rhea Martin of Cookeville,
TN; and 4 Sisters: Pam Johnson and Gay Allen Crabtree, both
of Baxter, TN, Margaret Martin Jones of Cookeville, TN, and
Phyllis Goad of Gainesboro, TN. Several aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
