Funeral services for  Mrs. Louise Kirby Collier, age 86,  a
resident of Red Boiling Springs, TN,  will  be held Monday, June
9,  2008,  at  2  P.M. at  Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN.  Burial  will  follow in the Collier Family
Cemetery near Granville, TN.

The  family  will  receive  friends  on  Sunday  from  2  P.M. – 8
P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services.

Mrs. Collier  passed  away   on   Saturday,  June  7, 2008, at
Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN.

She was born June 25, 1921, in Jackson County, TN,  to  the
Henry Z. and Amelia Pierce Kirby.  On  January  4, 1941,
she was married to the late
Garland Collier, who passed away
January 16, 2000.

She was a homemaker,  and  a  member  of  the  Big Branch
Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in
death  by  
1  Son:  Lawerence G. Collier;   1   Grandson: Allan
4  Brothers: Benton, Dorcey, Louis, and Garland Kirby;
1 Sister: Zelda Mae Mize; and 1 Son-in-Law: Dwayne Collins.

Survivors include
2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law:  Wallace D.
and Dot Collier of Hermitage Springs, TN, and Claude R. and
Pat Collier of Nashville, TN;  
4 Daughters and 3 Sons-in-Law:
Lois and Benny Copley of Portland, TN; Judy and Ronnie Jones
of Hermitage, TN; Peggy and Jeff Collins of Moss, TN; and Patty
Collins of Red Boiling Springs, TN;
2 Brothers and Sisters-in-
Harvey and Erlean Kirby of Dotham, AL,  and  Gerald and
Edna Kirby of White House, TN; and  
2  Sisters and Brothers-
   Gene  and  Bob  Patterson   of   Nashville,   TN,   and
Charlene    and    Joe    Romans     of     Fayetteville,    WV.    
,   11 Great-Grandchildren,   other   relatives,
and friends also survive.

Bro. Edward L. Anderson will officiate at the services.
