Her  life  was  filled with love of family and friends.   She  was
known  for  her  gift  of  counsel  when  someone  needed  good
sound  advice  they  knew  she  could  provide.   Her strength in
times of crisis was a great gift  to  so  many.  One  of  her  great
loves was reading -- she  traveled  many  places  in  her books.
Traveling  was  another  joy she shared with family and friends.
Her family always laughed how when she cooked for  her  family
you  never  really  knew  who  else  would   come   through   the
backdoor to eat. All were welcome!  Many wonderful  meals and
great memories  were shared round our family table.

Mrs. Hughes  was  a  member   of   Gainesboro  First  United
Methodist Church.
