Memorial services for Mrs. Nanella “Nan” R. Young, 69,
of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday,
February 11, 2012, at the Algood Church of Christ in Algood,
TN. The family has chosen cremation.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday,
February 11, from 11 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at her
residence.
She was born January 29, 1943, in Fresno, CA, to the late
William Hobbs and Genevieve Hobbs. She was married to
Ray Young, who survives. She was a day care provider and
school teacher, and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
1 Daughter: Lisa Young; and 1 Sister: Nettale “Ned” Black.
Survivors include her Husband: Ray Young of Cookeville,
TN; 1 Son: Todd (Vivian) Young of Clovis, CA; 2
Grandchildren: Allison and Torie Young; and 1 Brother:
Melvin McAllister of Santa Maria, CA.
Bro. David Dalton will officiate at the services.
