Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Keith Pippin, 73, of
Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday,
July 13, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home
in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in
the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 Noon – 9
P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at her
residence.
She was born October 23, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to
the late Joe Keith and Hazel Stafford Keith. She was
married to Ray Pippin. She was a retired home health nurse,
and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3
Sons: Benny Wilson, Robert Biggs, and Darrell Biggs; 1 Sister:
Jean Young; and 1 Brother: Jimmy Keith.
Survivors include her Husband: Ray Pippin of Gainesboro,
TN; 2 Daughters: Loretta (Mike) Moore of Celina, TN, and
Margie (David) Compton of Lebanon, TN; 1 Brother: Audney
(Sharon) Keith of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Dorothy (Robert)
Young of Cocoa, FL, and Elizabeth Dixon of Columbus, IN; 7
Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Bro. John Mabery will officiate at the services.
