Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Dunavent, 46, of Cookeville,
Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, June 30, at Upper
Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dodson
Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson
County.
 
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 P.M. – 9 P.M.,
and Friday from noon until time of services at Upper
Cumberland
Funeral Home.
 
Mr. Dunavent passed away on Monday, June 26, 2006, at
Masters Health Care Center in Algood, Tennessee.
 
He was born January 7, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to
Betty
Dunavent
and the late Jack D. Dunavent. Mr. Dunavent was
a factory worker and a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist
Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by

Jack Doyle Dunavent, Jr.; 1 Sister: Jackie Elizabeth
Dunavent; and
1 Niece: Christina Marie Landsaw.

Survivors include
2 Daughters: Tammy Ann Locks and Tanya
Lynn Locks, both of Warren, MI;
1 Grandson: Landon Locks of
Warren, MI;
his mother: Betty Dunavent of Cookeville, TN; 1
Sister and Brother-in-Law:
Bobbie & Michael Jones of
Wildwood, FL;
1 Nephew: Michael T. Jones of Valrico, FL; and
1 Niece: Heather Kline of Mesa, AZ.

Rev. Billy Haney will officiate at the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the
Cummins Mill Baptist Church Building Fund.
