Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia Ann Gentry, 82, of
Vandalia, OH, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, February 2,
2012, at the West Cemetery in the Fairview community of
Putnam County, TN.
There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
She passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, in
Vandalia, OH. She was born September 27, 1929, in OH, to the
late William Eckley and Catherine Eckley. She was married
to the late Kenneth Lee Gentry, who passed away March 15,
2004. She was a homemaker, and a member of the North
Dayton Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Daughter: Elizabeth May; 5 Brothers; and 2
Sisters.
Survivors include 2 Sons: Jon E. (Brenda) Gentry of
Vandalia, OH, and Kenneth (Alura) Gentry, Jr. of Caldwell,
Idaho; 9 Grandchildren: Jason, Nicole, Alexis, Chelsea,
Shawn, Megan, Larrissa, Robert, and Amanda; 3 Great –
Grandchildren: Jade, Isaiah, and Gavin; 1 Brother: Francis
Eckley of Brookville, OH; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Grace Eckley
of Kettering, OH, and Judy Eckley of Lumbar, IL.
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
