Gerald "Dudder" Gore Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gerald “Dudder” Gore was born February 26, 1949, in Jackson County, TN, and he passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Clarence Edward Gore and Geneva Hawkins Gore. On May 29, 1968, he was married to Stephanie Louise Gore, who survives. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and a resident of the Dodson Branch community. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Patricia Jones. Survivors include his Wife: Stephanie Louise Gore of the Dodson Branch community; Children and Grandchildren: Roger Wayne Gore of Nashville, TN, Stephanie Lynne of Gainesboro, TN, Sara Beth Heady of Gainesboro, TN, Katherine York of Gainesboro, TN, and Lucas Dewayne York of Gainesboro, TN; Brothers: Roger Dale (Melba) Gore of Gainesboro, TN, and Wayne Gore of Gainesboro, TN; and Sisters: Connie Gore and Gayle Terry, both of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 5 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 3 P.M. - 5 P.M. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Wounded Warriors Project by contacting the funeral home.
