Norma Mayberry Eder

Funeral services for Norma L. Mayberry Eder, 80, of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 12 Noon at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. – 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Norman Mayberry and Emma Rector Mayberry. She was married to the late Ronald Eder, who passed away in 2006. She worked for K-Mart #4190 in Dayton, OH for 26 years before moving back to Jackson County and continued to work in a factory. She attended the Post Oak Shade Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Harold, Dolphus, Garry, Douglas, and Gerald Mayberry; 2 Sisters: Arlene Ward and Mary Kemplen; 5 Brothers in Law: Asa Dillon, George Method, Merrill Stamm, Jack Kemplen, and Thurston Ward; and 2 Sisters in Law: Stella Mayberry and Vada Mayberry. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Carolyn Eder of Cookeville, TN; 5 Sisters: Imogene Dillon, Barbara Method, Judy (Bobby) Lee, and Dorothy (Mike) Knight, all of Cookeville, TN, and Wanda Stamm of Dayton, OH; Grandchild: Caleb Tanner Hodgson of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Sisters in Law: Brenda Mayberry of Cookeville, TN, and Kim Mayberry of Greenfield, IN. Clayton Lee, Jr. and Dow Allen will officiate at the services.
