Rose Mary Knight

March 9, 1940 - March 12, 2022

Rose Mary Knight was born March 9, 1940 and she moved to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 82. She was the daughter of Luther and Dorothy Wiley Phillips. Mrs. Rose was a resident of the Dodson Branch Community and a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Rose was a retired factory worker and a housewife who loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Knight who passed away April 4, 1989. Sisters, Virgie Loftis and Wanda Morgan along with an infant brother also preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter, Henrietta (Leroy) Key of Dodson Branch; sons, Kenny (Kim) Knight and Mitchell (Sherri) Knight both of Dodson Branch and Dewayne (Anne) Knight of Cookeville; sister, Paulene (Paul) Diaz; grandchildren, Jessica Shelton, Brittany Flatt, Matthew Knight, Blake Thomas, Ashleigh Thomas, Matthew Randolph and Courtney Knight; great grandchildren, Briley, Brayden, Bryson, Aadan and Mariska. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 12 noon to 2 pm at Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church located at 285 Old Dodson Branch Road, Cookeville TN. Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM at the church with Bro. Ronnie Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Dodson Branch Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
